| Project Description: | The work shall be done in accordance with Specifications No. 3354 and Plan No. 22-96. The work generally includes: the excavation of slopes down to stable bedrock, including excavation of weathered to firm bedrock; the realignment of the existing fire access road, including grading, excavation and compaction; the compaction of excavated slopes and adjacent slopes; the grading of a fire access road; the installation of Portland cement concrete terrace drains (slope drains); the installation of a wire mesh netting wall; the removal of existing trees, shrubs and native ground cover; the planting of new trees, shrubs, and hydroseed, including the installation of jute netting; as shown on the project plans and specifications, A.P.W.A. Standard Plans for Public Works Construction (2006 Edition), and the Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction (2006 Edition), including all supplements thereto issued prior to bid opening date. | ||
